Recording Studio Design & Build

We work with artists, engineers, and studio owners to design and improve recording spaces. This includes acoustic treatment, wiring, isolation, or full studio builds. Every space is different. Reach out with details about your project, and we’ll figure out the best approach.

Wiring & Signal Flow

A well-built studio works as much behind the walls as it does in the room. A studio should feel easy to move through, both physically and technically….plug and play. Patchbays, routing, and analog integration are designed to stay flexible without becoming complicated, especially in the world of hybrid digital/analog workflows.

Take a look at what we did for Lauren:

Acoustic Design & Treatment

Acoustic treatment isn’t just about control — it’s about how the room responds to the music. We design spaces that stay balanced but still feel alive, where instruments have something to interact with. The treatment becomes part of the environment…creative rather than clinical. A space that supports the sound without taking the life out of it.

Isolation & Room Layout

We approach floorplans with both sound and workflow in mind, making sure the room supports the way artists and engineers actually work. Isolation is handled in a way that controls bleed when needed, but still keeps the space open and interactive…creating separation without making the room feel disconnected or rigid.

Built from Real Studio Experience

Cocoon itself is the result of this process. Every decision came from running sessions and needing the space to work more efficiently — not from theory alone. Projects like the Nest Diffuser, The Oven, and the moss walls all came from that hands-on approach. With a background in carpentry and technical design, Corey approaches builds from both sides — how it’s constructed and how it will shape the sound for years to come.
